Both Andrew and Lena have struck a deal with EMG Pickups. They now use the US manufacturer's equipment exclusively.
A 2 disc CD/DVD in digibook packaging, titled An Ode to Woe will be released on April 28 according to Peaceville.
The DVD contains a live concert registration filmed at the world-famous Paradiso, Amsterdam, Holland, in April 2007. The legendary venue (previous performers include Nick Cave, The Rolling Stones, Nirvana and The Sex Pistols) provides the perfect setting for this special gig.
The band, including newest members Dan Mullins (drums) and bassist Lena Abé, alongside original members Aaron Stainthorpe and Andrew Craighan (the line-up completed by Hamish Glencross on guitars and Sarah Stanton on keyboards), storm through renditions of favourites from as far back as their 1992 debut As the Flower Withers, right through to latest studio album, A Line of Deathless Kings, and not forgetting the inclusion of timeless MDB classics like The Cry of Mankind.

This just in: My Dying Bride have entered the studio to start recording for their next album. Pre-production has started last week and they gone into full studio at mode at Futureworks in Manchester, with Mags once again at the wheel.
According to Andrew, there are no song or album titles yet, but the feel of the album is, in his words "heading for empty and bleak with flashes of rage".

Jackson Guitars have launched their own YouTube channel, featuring our very own Hamish plugging Jackson Guitars at last year's Download festival. The company are currently building Hamish a unique new guitar in their Custom Shop, which he looks forward to unveiling this summer.
My Dying Bride have been confirmed to play at the Wâldrock Festival in the Netherlands, on July 5.
Sarah is pleased to announce that she is expecting her first child, due to be born this summer. Consequently, her impending motherhood means she will not be participating in the upcoming My Dying Bride shows. She sends her best wishes to the band and to the fans.
My Dying Bride already have a keyboardist rehearsed for all shows planned this year.

The exact concert dates for MDB's appearance at Hellfest in France and Graspop in Belgium have been confirmed. Also, My Dying Bride has been confirmed to play at the Metal Rock Fest in Lillehammer, Norway.

MDB are proud to announce a new alliance between them and the Trace Elliot bass amplification company. Lena took delivery of a brand new AH-1000 monster bass rig from the legendary UK company, and is honoured to be part of the Trace Elliot family.
My Dying Bride have been confirmed to play for several additional dates, including gigs in France, Belgium and the Czech Republic.

The Atarfe Vega festival in Spain, which was originally scheduled to take place this december and then canceled, has now been rescheduled to take play in March 2008. My Dying Bride will play there on March 8, 2008.

In stage 6 of the build of Andy's new guitars we see the completed and sanded guitar body.

Andy's new Mayones guitars are progressing steadily. You can now see new photos of the inlaid fret markers and the shaping of the top. More as we get it!
Due to excessively bad weather in the area of Atarfe, Spain, the infrastructure has been damaged badly. The festival organizers have let us know that it looks like this year's edition of the festival will have to be canceled, which means My Dying Bride's performance there, on December 1 of this year, will be canceled as well.

After Lena recently obtained a Mayones custom bass, guitarist Andy has also joined the ranks of Mayones players. He has ordered three custom guitars which are currently being built by the company from Poland, so they are indeed 'works in progress'. Over the next weeks, we can follow the creation of two of these one-of-a-kind instruments through photos straight from the workshop, accompanied by explanation from the builders. We will update regularly when a new stage in the build has been reached, so keep checking back!

Lena is proud to announce that she has joined the ranks of Mayones players after having inked a deal with the company last month. She has already had one custom bass built for her, as seen at the M'era Luna and Summer Darkness festivals, and looks forward to a successful and continuing partnership.

This just in: My Dying Bride have been confirmed to play on the "Dimebag Darrel stage" at this year's Download Festival at Donington Park, England, on June 9.
Additionally we have had confirmed of an additional concert in the Netherlands, on August 12, at the Summer Darkness Festival in Tivoli, Utrecht.

My Dying Bride has been confirmed to play at the Frozen Rock Open Air Festival, in Venice, Italy, on July 14.

This just in, straight from the band:
My Dying Bride is sorry to have to say that on 5th January 2007 bassist Adrian Jackson left the band. He has pledged his future in America and has made it quite clear there is no room in his plans for My Dying Bride. We have parted in good faith and wish him luck with his new life out there. It has absolutely no effect on any of the gigs we have confirmed. We have already rehearsed his replacement to gig readiness and she is looking forward to playing for the first time in My Dying Bride. More on his replacement, Lena, soon.
Secondly we have had to replace long term stand in drummer / thunder truck / Uberlunatic John Bennet due to his work commitments. He is saddened by the fact he cannot drum for My Dying Bride anymore as are we, but we understand that we all have to make a living and wish him luck too in his job.
It's not all doom and gloom though as we have been rehearsing with excellent drummer Dan Mullins of Thine, Bal Sagoth and Sermon Of Hypocrisy fame and again he too is now at gig readiness. MDB has a new fresh focused feel to it and we are looking forward to the shows with a vengeance.
